N. Taiwo’s passion for excellence and personal accountability and discipline is the driver that led to writing RESPECT: Gaining It and Sustaining It, his debut book. His belief is that success without respect is very hollow; yet we all pursue success in life, often without a full understanding of the concept of respect – or we think we do!

N. Taiwo is a continuous improvement expert – a professional in the field of business performance improvement. His extensive professional career has afforded him the privilege of working with leading Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and abroad. He has also had the opportunity to consult in the public sector with several U.S. federal and state governmental agencies.

He served as the interim Chief Information Officer to two Secretaries of Health and Human Services (in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts) under a prior Administration.

Born and raised in Nigeria, N. Taiwo resides in Massachusetts. He holds a Master’s degree from RPI, New York and a Bachelor’s degree from WPI, Massachusetts. He is a senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), a leading national organization that promotes individual, organizational, and community excellence through learning, quality improvement, and knowledge exchange. He is a Lean Expert and an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt professional – an expert in the field of continuous improvement. He is also a very dynamic public speaker and has made presentations to mentor groups, professional groups and educational groups. He has received several recognition awards from organizations that include Blacks In Government (BIG).
